Fishing Report from TPWD (Jul. 21)

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 85 degrees; 1.01 feet high. Black bass are good on buzz baits, top waters, crankbaits, drop shots and jigs over and near flooded vegetation, timber and rock ledges. White bass are good along the main lake channel, flats and humps with white and chartreuse swim baits and slabs. Stripers are good with live bait and top water baits along the main lake river channel edges in water depths 25-42 feet. Crappie are good with minnows and jigs in timber, creek channels and brush piles. Catfish are fair on punch bait and live bait.
