Nestled in the shade of live oak and cedar trees on the shore of Lake Whitney, Uncle Gus' RV Park, Cabins and Marina is a family friendly place for fun vacations, family reunions or weekend getaways. Uncle Gus' RV Park, Cabins & Marina has 30 full/partial hookup RV slips available for rent and 31fully equipped air-conditioned cabins. The park has five pull-through RV slips and a dump station. RV slip and Cabin rentals includes use of all park and marina facilities . Amenities include boat launch, parking on the water , boat rentals, fishing dock, swimming pools, basketball court, playground, showers, restrooms, covered pavilion, picnic tables, barbecue grills and horseshoes . The air-conditioned Banquet halls have meeting space that will hold 65-85 people and are equipped with tables chairs . Our marina offers public boat ramp with lance fee, secured wet slip rental, marina store including gas sales. Dry storage for boats and RVs is available alone with boat sales and service department.

Lake Whitney Fishing Report from TPWD (Dec. 11)

FAIR. Water stained 62 degrees; 6.41’ low. Black bass continue to be good on plastic worms, jigs, and crankbaits in portions of the lake that have increased visibility. Use shallower baits such as topwater lures, and fast-moving jigs in the murkier portions of the lake. White bass are fair on Alabama rigs, spinnerbaits, and with minnows in the main southern reservoir approaching the dam. Crappie are fair with minnows and jigs in the middle or upper end of the lake. Catfish are good on live shad, stink bait, and cut shad.
