McCown Valley Park Boat Ramp is located on the east shore at mid-lake. From Whitney, take FM 933 north and turn left on FM 1713 Spur. The park is at the end of the road. There is a three-lane ramp with a courtesy dock and parking area. You can enjoy a picnic as they have picnic areas, and you can also do camping.
