GOOD. Water slightly stained; 72 degrees; 0.36 feet above pool. Catfish are good using cut bait in shallow water. The striped bass bite is good on live bait in 25-30 feet of water. Some Stripers have been caught using topwater baits. Crappie are up the river spawning. White bass fishing is good on slabs in 25-30 feet of water. Largemouth bass fishing is good using soft plastics on deep structure. Report by Captain Cory Vinson, Guaranteed Guide Service. As we enjoy a weekend of fishing we salute and honor our Nation’s heroes this Memorial Day. Anticipate increased recreational boater traffic this weekend.
