Fishing Report from TPWD (Apr. 24)

FAIR. Water stained; 67 degrees; 0.69 feet above pool. Catfish are good using cut drum, shad or punch bait under roosting birds. Striped bass are poor, some fish are being caught trolling live bait and down rigging jigs. Crappie continue to be fair on small jigs and minnows fished near deeper structure. White bass are fair moving out of the creeks in shallow waters. Largemouth bass continue to be fair along structures and docks. Report by Captain Cory Vinson, Guaranteed Guide Service.
