Uncle Gus Banquet halls are nestled in the trees in the park. Each air-conditioned hall is equipped, with pots and pans, dishes, stoves, refrigerators, tables and chairs. Banquet hall #1 has a beautiful view of the lake making it a perfect place for family reunions, parties and weddings. The halls are near the fishing dock and one of the pools and are within walking distance to cabin rentals and rv sites.

Lake Whitney Fishing Report from TPWD (Apr. 1)

FAIR. Water stained 62-64 degrees; 3.96’ high. Black bass are fair on crankbaits and plastic creatures while fishing spawning areas and coves 8-10’. White bass are slow in creeks with jigs. Crappie are fair with minnows and jigs in shallow water. Catfish are fair on cut shad and prepared baits.
