Lake Whitney Fishing Report from TPWD (Jan. 22)

GOOD. Water stained 55 degrees; 5.94’ low. Black bass continue to be very good on deep diving crankbaits, plastic worms and spinnerbaits with deep water structure and drops. White bass remain fair on Alabama rigs and with minnows in the south end deep water. Crappie are fair with minnows and jigs looking mid-lake to north with structure in 10 feet or less. Catfish are fair on cut shad.
